A98 near Buckie set for temporary speed limit

Traffic will be restricted to 30mph on a section of the A98 near Buckie for part of this coming week.

The temporary speed limit is due to be in force at Inchgower distillery between January 6-8 to allow for CCTV survey work to be conducted.

A temporary speed limit will be in force just outside Buckie.

Scottish Gas Network (SGN) are expected to commence work outside 16 Sterlochy Street, Findochty at some point over January 10-20 to install a gas connection. The work is expected to take up to 10 working days.

The company are also working to repair a leak in the Rathven Road area of Buckie.

Still in the March Road area, Openreach are set to begin work outside No 1 between January 8 and January 16 for 13 working days to install a fibre duct.

The long-term work to repair damage done to McLaren’s Brae by torrential rain continues.

Over in Buckpool, outside No 54, Scottish Water will be making a start to clearing out a choked toby over January 7-15. This is expected to last up to six working days.
