Barbertown burglary in Droitwich: police update

Masked men used a brick to break into Barbertown in Droitwich High Street before making off with a Chopper bike in the window.

Now West Mercia Police has issued an appeal to catch the offenders following the burglary on Monday evening.

A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information following a burglary in Droitwich yesterday evening (Monday, January 6).

“Around 7pm two suspects entered Barbertown on the High Street and stole a blue Chopper style bike.

“Local officers arrived within minutes and immediately carried out an extensive search of the area. Several people were stopped and spoken to, but it transpired they weren’t involved in the incident and the suspects had left the area.

“Whilst enquiries continue officers are appealing to anybody who may have seen two people with the bike, anyone who may be offered it for sale, or anyone with any information that would help with the investigation to please get in touch.”
