According to National Highways, assessing and repairing the infrastructure damage is often delayed until police investigations at the scene are complete.

The damage caused by the this crash required not only the removal of the vehicles involved but also significant repairs to the central reservation barriers.

Repairs are progressing steadily, though there is no confirmed timeline for when all lanes will fully reopen.

National Highways has urged drivers to remain patient and to monitor traffic updates before planning their journeys.
