A teenage boy was robbed at knifepoint by a group of males in Fleetwood last night.
Police said the victim was approached by four people on the Esplanade on Monday (January 13). Officers were called to reports of a robbery at 6.16pm.
Fleetwood Area Police said one of the offenders reportedly had a knife. The victim had a phone, silver chain and coins stolen from him during the incident.
Three boys, two aged 15 and one aged 14, have since been arrested on suspicion of robbery and they remain in custody for questioning. Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
In a statement, a force spokesperson said: “We are investigating after a teenager was the victim of a robbery in Fleetwood. We were called at 6.16pm yesterday to the Esplanade, Fleetwood, to a report of robbery.
“It was reported that a teenage boy had been approached by four people, one of who had a knife, and had a phone, a silver chain and coins taken from him. Following enquiries, three boys – two aged 15 and one aged 14 – were arrested today on suspicion of robbery and are currently in custody.
“Any witnesses to the robbery or anyone who has information, please contact 101 – quoting log 1052 of 13th January 2025.”
