A number of roadworks are scheduled to take place in Buckie and the surrounding area this coming week.
Scottish Gas Network (SGN) are expected to commence work outside 16 Sterlochy Street, Findochty by January 20 to install a gas connection. The work is expected to take up to 10 working days.

Still in Findochty, SGN are working at 10 Burnside Street to repair a gas escape.
The company are also repairing a leak in the Rathven Road area of Buckie.
Still in the March Road area, Openreach are set to begin work outside No 1 by January 16 for 13 working days to install a fibre duct.
The long-term work to repair damage done to McLaren’s Brae by torrential rain continues, as do repairs to a stretch of North High Street.
Openreach are scheduled to begin work outside 64 Douglas Crescent, Buckie between January 17-20 for three working days to install a fibre duct. They will be doing likewise at 52 Raffan Road, beginning January 14-15 for three working days.
Moray Council have planned streetlight works at various locations in Buckie: Scott Terrace (start January 13-21, 10 working days); Hendry Terrace (start January 13-21, 10 working days); St Peter’s Terrace (start January 13-21, 10 working days).
Meanwhile, on the A990 from A98 at Enzie to Station Road in Portgordon Moray Council are scheduled to begin work on excavating and installing a water main at some point over January 16-24 for 11 working days.
Finally, Scottish Water are planning to undertake work at two locations on Murrayfield, Fochabers, the first due to finish this week and the other due to be under way by January 13 for three working days.
