Costa has closed its Birmingham Airport arrivals cafe as it undergoes a period of refurbishment. The coffee shop shut for overhaul on Monday, January 6 and it won’t open again until early March.
In the meantime, the retailer has installed a cart in place of its coffee shop to keep travellers caffeinated when they arrive in Birmingham. It says the new branch will have a ‘stunning new look’ that has been ‘designed to delight’.
It will feature ‘brighter and bolder’ decoration and modern features including a touch screen to speed up service. Costa added that the refresh is part of its committment to ‘bring a touch of joy to the airports, towns and high streets’ that it is ‘proud to serve’.
