Orlando Zela, director of Posh Wash Ltd, has been given permission to erect two parasols, a store and an office as part of a car wash in the car park of the DIY shop, in Easton Lane.
The car wash company estimates that four cars per hour could be accommodated.

The car wash will be sharing the southern end of the car park with Greggs, which is being constructed. As previously reported, the building now has a frame, with workers currently laying the concrete floor for the structure on the edge of Winchester.
The development will also lead to a reconfiguration of the Homebase car park, reducing the number of parking spaces from 196 to 152. The restaurant will feature a dine-in area that can seat up to 36 customers as well as a drive-thru to serve those who commute along the M3 and the A34.
No opening date has been given for either the car wash or the drive-thru.
The future of Homebase is currently unclear, with a closing down sale currently in process.
