The Alton branch of Chicken Rescue UK is looking for adoptees to look after hundreds of chickens before Saturday, January 18.
The ginger hens have come from a free range farm which will not be going back to the commercial egg market, with the farmer hoping to find them new homes.
A post on the Chicken Rescue UK – Alton Facebook page said: “We’re still needing to find homes for hundreds of girls in these locations before 18th January 2025.

“These gorgeous ginger hens are from a free range farm from a loving farmer who won’t be going back into the commercial egg market and only wants these girls to find their perfect forever homes to enjoy their well earned retirement.

Chicken Rescue UK has a number of open collection points, including Alton, Llanidloes, Nottingham Selston, Nottingham Toton, Northampton, Pewsey, Ringwood, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Wareham, Winchester and Wimborne.
