An annual Christmas charity tractor run saw a “fabulous turnout” and a “fantastic atmosphere”.
The Illuminated Christmas Charity Tractor Run, which is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Inverness Riverside and Dingwall alongside the InverRoss Young Farmers, raised £5000 for charity at last year’s event, with this year’s total yet to be announced.
Money raised at the event will go towards Farmstrong, Young Lives v Cancer and other locally supported charities through the rotary clubs.
Maisie Rennie, Carrie Rennie and Harry Rennie.
Taking place on December 28, the first leg of the event began at Dingwall Mart, looped by Strathpeffer, Jamestown and Contin before returning to Dingwall Mart. The second leg of the tractor run then went by Dingwall High Street, through Maryburgh, Conon Bridge, Muir of Ord and Beauly before finishing at the Black Isle Showground.
Rotary Club of Inverness Riverside said: “Fabulous turnout of illuminated Tractors tonight raising monies for good causes. Very well done all, especially everyone who turned out to wave and put money in the charity collection buckets.”

Claire Blinko said: “Fantastic atmosphere as the tractor rally came through Beauly again this evening, turning round at Braeview car park (I think) and back through again. Great to watch…and wave, so well organised and all for a good cause.”
