CalMac revealed that the 1.55pm sailing of the MV Isle of Arran from Brodick will now head to Troon Harbour, with the rest of the day’s crossings following an amended timetable.
The move also means that Saturday’s 7am sailing from Ardrossan to Arran will now be diverted to Troon, departing at 6.40am.
The new MV Isle of Arran schedule for today is: Depart Brodick – 1.55pm. Arrive Troon – 3.15pm. Depart Troon – 3.45pm, Arrive Brodick – 5.05pm. Depart Brodick – 5.35pm. Arrive Troon – 6.55pm
CalMac said: “The following sailings from/to Ardrossan are cancelled: Depart Ardrossan – 3.20pm, 6pm; Depart Brodick – 4.40pm, 7.20pm.
“A bus has been arranged to depart Ardrossan for Troon at 2.45pm. Buses have also been arranged to meet all arrivals into Troon.
“Please note that all MV Alfred sailings will operate as timetabled: Depart Brodick – 2.35pm, and 6.15pm, Depart Troon – 4.25pm.”
The company added: “On Saturday, January 11, due to the vessel berthing overnight in Troon, the 7am sailing from Ardrossan will now depart Troon at 6.40am and arrive in Brodick at 8am. Normal service will resume with the 8.20am sailing departing Brodick.
“A bus has been arranged to depart Ardrossan for Troon at 5.40am.”
