Brent Cross Shopping Centre
Five teenagers have been charged with robbery after stealing 50 mobile phones from the Apple store in Brent Cross on Sunday.
Mycah Omo-Idahosa, 18, from Lambeth, was due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court yesterday (7th January).
Two 15-year-old boys from Lambeth, a 14-year-old boy from Croydon and a 16-year-old boy from Cambridge have also been charged with robbery and were also due to appear.
The charges come after the police were called to Brent Cross Shopping Centre shortly after 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon (5th January), following reports that a group had entered the Apple store and were stealing phones.
Officers arrested members of the group and recovered the majority of the phones.
Aside from the five teenagers charged, another 15-year-old boy was also arrested and has been bailed while enquiries continue.
