Suspects of a triple shooting and stabbing, which saw three people injured in Hackney, is still on the loose. Police rushed to the scene to reports of gunshots being fired in two separate incidents in Homerton at 10.35pm on Saturday, January 11.
Officers attended alongside London Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service paramedics and found a 27-year-old man shot in the leg outside Homerton station on Berger Road. Two other men, aged 28 and 29, were also found injured on nearby Gascoyne Road – a ten-minute walk away – one also shot in the leg, the other with stab wounds.
They were rushed to hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Police believe these attacks may be related, but no arrests have been made yet, police told MyLondon this morning (Monday, January 13). Investigations to identify possible suspects are ongoing after crime scenes were set up in the area.

Superintendent Brigid Beehag-Fisher of Hackney and Tower Hamlets Police said: “This incident shows the casual disregard by some for the safety of our communities. Our investigation teams are working hard to understand the circumstances behind this incident and identify those responsible.
“Over the coming days, there will be increased police presence in the area. I would ask anyone with any information about this offence to speak to any of these officers or call police on 101 with reference 6958/11Jan.”
