Hit-and-run BMW driver hunted by police after crash with pedestrian

Police are hunting a BMW driver after a hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian. They were taken to hospital with injuries which are serious but not believed to be life-threatening.

The horror incident happened on Yates Hay Road, at the junction with Springfield Glade, in Malvern, just before 6.30pm on Friday, January 10. Police are appealing for information and appealing for dashcam footage.

No arrests have been made. Police inquiries are ongoing.

West Mercia Police said in a statement: “At around 6.25pm on Friday evening, a dark-coloured BMW collided with a pedestrian on Yates Hay Road, at the junction with Springfield Glade. The driver of the BMW failed to stop.

“The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries which are serious but not believed to be life-threatening. We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the collision or have dash-cam footage of it.
