A street in the heart of Inverness will close for almost two weeks to allow for gas pipe works.

A section of Charles Street, located in the Crown, will be closed from 8am on Tuesday, January 21 until 6pm on Monday, February 3.

The closure will affect the road between its junctions with Denny Street and Reay Street.

Confirming the closure, a Highland Council spokesperson said: “The closure is required to enable gas mains infrastructure works to safely proceed.”
