Despite being told to significantly improve during the food inspection, it seems that the takeaway has closed down after the signage now shows a new restaurant on Friarage Street.

The gold lettering on the front of the house has since been replaced by the sign for Shawarma House; a new restaurant that has taken Kam Bo House’s place on the street.

Limited details about Shawarma House are known at this time but The Northern Echo has attempted to contact the owners.
