A significant amount of cash and an unknown amount of watches were stolen from a house in Bridgend. South Wales Police are investigating the residential burglary in which £10,000 in cash was stolen.
Police have issued a warning reminding the public to keep cold callers and strangers out of their homes. They are asking people to “look out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours”.
The cash and watches were stolen from a house on Treharne Drive, Pen-Y-Fai, on Monday, January 13. While investigations into the incident continue, police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them,
In a statement, a spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “The incident happened on Treharne Drive, Pen-Y-Fai, Bridgend, £10,000 in cash and an unknown amount of watches were stolen. Investigations into this incident continue and anyone with any information is urged to contact us quoting reference number 2500012539.”
