Motorists on the M5 near Worcester faced delays of an hour following a crash on the motorway involving two heavy goods vehicles near junction 6 (Worcester) on Friday.
When the crash initially happened, three lanes on the northbound carriageway were closed just after junction 6 by Pershore Lane.

Congestion built up back towards junction 7 (Worcester South) and on the A4440 in Worcester as recovery work got underway. Before the carriageway was reopened, traffic had been able to pass as one lane was kept open.
National Highways confirmed at 10.45am that the three lanes had been reopened.
We approached West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service for comment.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “Police were called shortly before 7am to a collision on the M5, between junction 6 and 5 northbound involving two lorries.
“We have no reports of any injuries. There was some fuel reported on the road.”
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance attended an RTC involving two lorries and a car on the M5 Northbound in Worcester at 7.04am. There were no patients requiring medical treatment and we were stood down.”
