The crash happened on Worcester Road in Malvern near the junction with Queen Elizabeth Road during the morning rush hour.
Nobody was hurt in the crash. However, at least two of the cars badly damaged as officers from West Mercia Police helped keep traffic flowing.
Meanwhile, tailbacks built up in both directions until the scene was cleared and the damaged cars recovered.

The crash blocked one of the carriageways for drivers heading from the Worcester direction towards Great Malvern as officers got out to direct traffic and ease the build-up of congestion. The crash happened at around 7.30am.
The Land Rover sustained heavy damage to the front end on the driver’s side and by around 9.15am was in the process of being loaded onto a tow truck.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We received a report of a collision on the junction of Worcester Road and Queen Elizabeth Road in Malvern, involving three cars, at around 7.30am this morning (Friday 10 January). The road is partially blocked while recovery is being arranged for the vehicles involved. No injuries to report and no arrests have been made.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance confirmed they had not been called to the scene of the crash.
