Arthur Majewski, of Wick House Close, Wick, Pershore, has pleaded guilty to several charges relating to illegal indecent images and extreme pornographic material on Thursday (January 2).
The 50-year-old’s charges include:
- Making 21 indecent still and moving images of a child which fall under category A
- Making 59 indecent still and moving images of a child which fall under category B
- Making 1,488 indecent still and moving images of a children which fall under category C
- Possessing one image which portrayed a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal
What does each category mean?
Category C is the ‘least severe’ of the three categories and is used to describe an image of a child that is indecent but not overtly sexual, such as images of nudity.
Category B images depict non-penetrative sexual activity involving children.
Category A images are the most graphic and depict images of penetrative sexual activity, sadism or extreme sexual acts involving children.
Majewski will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Friday, January 31.
