Officers in Doncaster are searching for a man after an attempted sexual assault at a bus stop.
At around 8.30am on September 10, 2024, a man tried to kiss a 16-year-old girl. This took place at a bus stop in Sandford Road.
South Yorkshire Police has launched an investigation and they have been working to establish the circumstances around the attack. Now, they have released a CCTV image of a man they believe can help in their investigation.
This man is described as Eastern European, 30 to 40-years-old, of a stocky build and with medium length dark brown hair. South Yorkshire Police said: “We are releasing photos of a man we would like to speak to in connection with reports of an attempted sexual assault.

“It is reported that at around 8.30am on 10 September 2024, a man attempted to kiss a 16-year-old girl at a bus stop on Sandford Road, Doncaster.
“Since the incident was reported to us, an investigation has been launched and enquiries have been ongoing to establish the circumstances, this includes CCTV image circulation and further CCTV searches. Officers established that further CCTV opportunities were unavailable, and we are now sharing these photographs of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he can help with the investigation.
“The man in these images is described as Eastern European, 30-40 years old, of a stocky build, and with medium length dark brown hair.
