A “fantastic” mum who would have done “anything for her little boy” died suddenly over the festive period. Katie Hyde’s family have paid tribute to the mum who sadly passed on Friday, December 27.
The 27-year-old, from Spilsby, Lincolnshire, suffered from epilepsy and experienced seizures. However, the care worker’s cause of death remains unclear ahead of an inquest, reports LincolnshireLive.
Katie sadly leaves behind her son Robbie. Her dad, Earl Hyde, described his daughter as being “a dedicated mum” and said Robbie was her “absolute world.”

He said: “She was fun loving. She had so much fun with her sisters. She was a care worker as well, so she would take care of other people even when she was not well herself.”
Earl’s partner, and a close friend of Katie, Heather Williams, described the mum as being a “fun, loving, caring character” who was loved by many and always put the needs of others first. She said Katie “would do anything for her little boy” and that she “touched so many people’s lives in such a short time”.
Heather added: “When I first met Katie it was clear to me she had lived an interesting life and that she had learned a lot along the way.”
