Reverend Andrea Fraser was inducted into the Parish of Fife: Forthview on Sunday, January 12.
She will have the pastoral charge of Aberdour and Dalgety.
The service of induction was conducted by the moderator of Fife Presbytery, Reverend Brian Porteous, and the sermon was preached by the Reverend Dr MaryAnn Rennie of Dunfermline Abbey.
Reverend Andrea Fraser will primarily serve the communities of Dalgety Bay and Aberdour, while also taking on a team role across the entire parish.
Fife: Forthview, which came into effect on January 1, 2024, consists of the historical parishes of Aberdour, Dalgety, Inverkeithing, North Queensferry, and Rosyth.
Reverend Andrea Fraser said: “I am delighted to have been called by the congregations of Fife: Forthview to serve as one of their new ministers.
“I am excited to see and to meet everyone within the parish.
“Those who are already known to the church and those who aren’t.
“There is a welcome for all, whether you come to a service of worship or you pop in for a coffee or you use the hall for another purpose – all are welcome.”
Reverend Andrea Fraser was keen to stress that parish ministers are there for the entire parish, regardless of membership status.

With a background in public health and managing health and social care services, Reverend Andrea Fraser brings experience to her new role.
Ordained in 2023 at Dalgety Parish Church, she said: “Sunday’s service was a completion of one journey and the start of a very exciting new one.”
