Tyler, an office furnishings fitter from Pitsea, was discovered inside a lift shaft at the Trendy Lara Hotel in Antalya, Turkey, on November 29.
His family have spent six weeks fighting for answers around the circumstances of his tragic death. Now, they have confirmed a funeral procession, including a horse-drawn carriage, and service will take place for Tyler on January 25.

“We’re going to travel to the crematorium with a horse and carriage procession and I know he would love the fact that he is going to be stopping traffic.”
Tyler’s funeral procession will leave the family’s Wickford Mews, Pitsea home at 12.15pm.

Collette has invited anyone who knew Tyler to join the procession, saying she wants to give her grandson the best send-off possible.
Family – Collette Kerry has said the family are hoping the funeral will allow them to properly grieve (Image: Alex Price)“I want him to have the best day, and that it will be a chance for us to properly grieve” she said.
Since returning to the UK from Turkey after Tyler’s death, where they had been enjoying a rare family holiday, the family have been pushing for an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Believing Tyler was murdered, the family have secured support from campaign group, Justice Abroad and a private post mortem.
Much of that work has been made possible through donations and fundraising, with Collette adding: “I would like to fully thank everyone who has supported me through this journey in fighting for justice for Tyler.
“All of the funds raised so far have gone into the investigation and we have had to pay for the funeral out of pocket.
“As a family, we’re doing as good as we can and taking every day as it comes. We’ve lost a lovely young man and are absolutely devastated.”
