The event saw 120 people take part, matching last year’s numbers.
An Inclusive Race allows young adults with learning and physical disabilities to compete, each paired with members of The Barn, a gym and fitness centre led by Jo Shallcross.

The Open Race was won for the third time in a row by James Leiper and Robert Holt.
Their winning time of 7 minutes 2 seconds was affected by the weather, being 13 seconds and 42 seconds slower than their 2024 and 2023 times respectively.
Lucy and Annabel Cardno took the Ladies Race with a time of 9 minutes 25 seconds.
Charlie Fretwell, partnered by Rosie Carr, won the Inclusive Race, while brothers William and Edward Grace triumphed in the Junior Race.
Funds raised from the event, including wheelbarrow sponsorships, entry fees, programme sales, and bucket collections, are shared equally between St Oswald’s Hospice and Tynedale at Home Hospice.
