Romsey and Waterside Lions donate to Baby Necessities

Romsey and Waterside Lions stepped in to help Baby Necessities, a Romsey-based non-profit organisation focused on reducing child poverty, after learning that its computers were malfunctioning.

One computer had completely failed, while the other kept switching itself off.

The Lions provided a £500 donation to purchase new computers at short notice.

The donation was presented by Lions treasurer, Sandra Trowbridge, to Hayleigh Jarvis of Baby Necessities.

The charity helps families who struggle to afford basic needs.

In 2024 alone, Baby Necessities assisted more than 1,000 families.

The donation from the Lions will ensure that the charity can continue its operations smoothly, without the hindrance of faulty equipment.
