Romsey Choral Society invite people to take part in workshop

The all-day session, focusing on Handel’s oratorio Saul, will take place on Saturday, January 25, from 10.30am to 4.30pm at Romsey Methodist Church on The Hundred.

The workshop is part of the society’s preparations for a performance of Saul in Romsey Abbey on Saturday, March 29.

A society spokesperson said: “Less well known than Handel’s famous Messiah, the piece is a dramatic and colourful work.

Saul tells the story of the first king of Israel’s relationship with his eventual successor, David.”
