‘Serious’ consequences if Salisbury public toilets close

The consequences of this are serious for market traders, shoppers, tourists and children.

I am a nurse and many of my patients have health issues where they must know where the clean, safe available toilets are.  They tell me sometimes they stop going out because of the worry of not finding a toilet in time.

The footfall in Salisbury will reduce if there are no public toilets, and there will be fouling in corners.

There were lots of people enjoying the River Avon walk today and in Marks and Spencer there was a long queue mid-morning for the toilets.

Wiltshire Council please escalate this issue!
