Slough attempted robbery leaves man with fractured ribs

On Friday at around 7pm, the man was approached by another man who punched him in the face on Upton Lea Parade, Wexham Road. 

Police say a second man then exited a parked black BMW and also attacked the victim. 

It is believed the men were trying to rob the man’s phone. 

He was taken to hospital with fractures ribs, cuts to his face, bruising and swelling but has since been discharged.

Now police want to speak to anyone with information on the incident. 

The first offender is described as an Asian male in his fifties, who is around 6 foot tall of a muscular build.

He had short black hair, a trimmed black beard and was wearing all-black clothing.

The second offender is described as a British Asian man in his early twenties and around 5 foot 8 inches tall.

He was possibly wearing a hooded top.

Investigating officer DC Lauren Rose said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident, as well as anybody with doorbell or dashcam footage, to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information can make a report online or call 101 quoting reference 43250004258.
