Theft from vehicle reported in Lorne Street, Kidderminster

The theft took place on Lorne Street in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday January 15).

The vehicle was targeted at around 4.30am while it was parked on the street, Kidderminster PC Derya Mustafa said in a neighbourhood alert.

Officers want to hear from anyone with information about the stolen items or those who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident.

A separate report was made of a person acting suspiciously on nearby Grosvenor Avenue at 3.55am the same day.

An individual was seen peering into vehicles and trying car door handles.

Police have urged the public to take steps to protect their property, including removing all valuables from vehicles when left unattended.

They are also encouraging the community to report any suspicious activity around vehicles by calling 101.
