Trial date set for men accused of murdering ‘loving son, father, brother and uncle’

Two men are to face a trial accused of murdering a “loving son, father, brother, and uncle”. Joshua Norman, 27, died following an incident in Swansea in September last year.

Paul Rosser, aged 49, of McRitchie Place, Gendros, Swansea, and 32-year-old Joshua Cullen of Griffith John Street, Dyfatty, Swansea, have both pleaded not guilty to murder and to a lesser alternative of manslaughter. A provisional trial date of March 17 had been set but the trial at Swansea Crown Court will now take place from May 27 this year.

Emergency services responded to reports of an alleged assault in Cwm Road, Swansea, just after noon on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 and the street remained closed for the rest of day while police carried out a forensic examination of the scene.
