Warrington care home hosting open day with beekeeping talk

Westvale House care home, in Old Hall, Warrington, is inviting people to the event on Saturday, January 18.

The event will feature a beekeeping talk by Julia Young from the North Cheshire Beekeepers Association at 2pm, in honour of Winnie the Pooh Day.

Visitors can tour the facilities and meet the team, while enjoying homemade cakes and refreshments in the bistro and lounge.

The doors will be open to guests from 10am to 4pm.

“You don’t, you feel it’ and that’s what you feel when you walk into Westvale and we want to share it.

“Please join us on the day, we welcome you with open arms.”

Westvale House care home is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.

The home provides residential, nursing, and respite care.
