Those living in the RG28 postcode can enjoy free entry for the entire promotion period, from January 14 to February 2.

The mill has been continuously weaving silk since 1815 and is now an award-winning museum on the banks of the River Test.

It tells the story of silk weaving through exhibits and live demonstrations of the silk textile-making process.

Visitors can see the historic machinery in action and learn about the mill’s history.

From January 18, the exhibition Powering Through: The Conservation of the Waterwheel will offer visitors a look at the mill’s waterwheel.

The exhibit will highlight its history and the efforts of those involved in its conservation and restoration.
